They say the chain grocery store went way back and started with the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company in the mid 1850s. I grew up getting 100% of our food from the grocery, and I’m sure most America has felt the same way for decades. If you’re like me, I was born in the late 70s and I’ve never known anything different than going to the grocery store. I’m going to give you a little history of the grocery store in America.
